March 6th, 2009 by Jarrett Braun

We are ready to rock!  Get your Rocker Costumes and mustaches. Just one more day to go.

Don’t worry if the recent temps have melted all the snow away in your backyard there is still plenty at Kissing Bridge.  Tickets go on sale bright and early at the Kissing Bridge Central ticket office.  So be sure to ask for a “Shoe-Fly-Far” Aaron Shoemaker Memorial event ticket.

This event would not be possible without the generosity of the Western New York community.  The following companies have allowed this dream to become a reality.

Event Details

Shoe-Fly tickets are on sale, get your tickets now and lock in the day.  Tickets will also be available day of  the event, but don’t wait.

What does 50 bucks get you?

10 o’clock sharp:  Use your all day all access lift ticket to meet in the terrain park for the dedication of a brand new 33 ft Roller-coaster box made for this event.  I’ve seen it being fabricated and WOW!  After the dedication all participants can either roam Kissing Bridge’ s perfectly groomed trails or stick around in our exclusive V.I.P Shoe-Fly-Far park designed by S. Voit.  The jumps and rails will be smooth and completely dialed in.  For the next 4hrs there will be Rock, Red Bull  and hot dogs to keep you hyped and riding hard.  We got Inski on the grill to make em’ how you like em’.  Vendors will be on site to keep things fun, with contests and product tosses.  Lets face it Aaron loved to rock!  It’s because of this that Shoe-Fly has a rocker theme.  Get dressed up, there will definitely be a prize for the best rocker costume and don’t forget it’s  Mustache March!  Who says mustaches are filthy?  They’re glorious!

4 o’clock:  Thirsty yet?  Drink specials and music kick off in the Lake Effect Saloon.  Bring some extra cash to get wild and for the  raffles we got going on.  Prizes for the best trick, stache, and costume will be given out so don’t leave.

Shoe-Fly-Far is to remember Aaron and raise some money, so bring a positive attitude and be ready to have fun and ride with your friends just like Aaron would have done!
